ReplyDeleteI KNOW!! We rarely see it that often. At first, i was thinking there was some sort of major drug bust flying over but it was just too widespread. It was too wet to be flour so i went with my gut feeling and trusted the weatherman when he said it was snow. (i still think it was a lucky guess on his part).
ReplyDeleteThe previous record was 7 inches set back in 1978. this snowfall officially hit 12.5. We do things up big in TX.
On one day recently, I heard there was actually snow on the ground in 49 out of 50 States. I'm sure you can guess which one didn't! And many of them had far more than we have here in Winnipeg, Canada! What's going on?!
